Has anyone listened to this? Thoughts?
It was released a couple weeks ago. I'm liking it alot, really I don't think Tom Petty can do anything wrong musically. By no means his best, but better than The Last DJ.

Petty can, indeed, do no wrong. I pre-ordered it through iTunes, I was so excited. After my first listen, I was a little disappointed, but the sound wasn't new to me, because a lot of his older material has the same sound. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. I grew up on Tom Petty, he's amazing. It makes me a sad panda when I'll talk about Tom Petty and they'll ask me, "The racecar driver?"
I'm sad he's retired from touring and interviews. When I read that, it totally bummed me out.:(

When I first got this I wasn't sure what I thought of it. The next day, I had to do a quick roadtrip a few hours north. This disc is amazing for roadtrips.
I really need to see him before he retires from touring.

The tour he's doing now is going to be the last, I believe. That's what I've heard. I've seen him twice, but that really isn't enough for me. I guess it'll have to be since he isn't stopping around here like he usually does.
