I purposely didn't play the demo but in GoW: Chains of Olympus (PSP) the fists he had were one of my favorite weapons.

I didn't either. They were heavy and slow, just like the hammer in the second game, but when I played it again and messed around with them a bit I discovered that they do some pretty sweet stuff.

Also, I'm definitely ridiculously excited to start playing this on Thursday.

if you played the demo and thought it was a bit lackluster, that demo was from E3 last year. they made a HUGE improvement to the graphics since then. it looks absolutely gorgeous and feels incredibly cinematic. one of the most bad ass openings ever in any game.

The hammer fucking sucked until you got the final upgrade and could flick the right analog stick for the souls to attack

I got it last night and this game by far is one of the best games of this generation. My mouth hit the floor at the beginning of the game and it's still on the floor.

Yeah he is, It's like he refuses to fucking die. You beat him once and then he comes back as a fucking behemoth that takes just as long to beat. I jumped out of my chair and danced when I killed him.

Really? I had a hard time killing it. Then I realized I could just use the arrows to kill it instead of wasting all the type hacking and slashing and it pissing me off.

The thing that pisses me off is that I have yet to die once while fighting bosses/enemies. Yet, I always seem to know how to jump off ledges or not glide far enough. God damn it. 22 deaths by suicide..
