Tell me how can we
Begin to dream
What we have not lived
We are stuck in dreams
Of things we’ve seen;
Of things we can predict.

Tell me how can we
Begin to breathe
The breeze of a new sea
This exhausted ocean screams
For us to leave.

There are vultures in the sky
Just waiting for the right time
And as we depart,
The sun laughs at us.

Good natured creatures
We could have been
But is now too late
The shoulders of Pallas
Won’t cease to bleed.

Look up to the sky
Apollo now cries
Look down to the ground
And see the owl has died.

i agree, we get caught up in thinking that as an individual the world revolves around us and as a human species...but in reality were nothing compared to what power this world holds and the amount of time its been there. someone told me once that there are about six and a half billion people on earth today. if you were to go to the beach and take a spoon full of sand, each single grain of sand would represnt one person in the world. if you were to take all the beaches in the world with all there sand, each grain of sand wouldnt even come close to equaling one third of the amount of stars and galaxies that we know of. im rambling but i like the song!
