who's your favorite spider-man villain in the films?

Doc Ock with Green Goblin with a close second. Both very complex characters, I wish I could say the same for the latter.

GG, then Doc Ock. Totally agreed with jwicklun's last sentence.

Fuck Sam Raimi.

Sam Raimi did fine with 1 and 2. Fuck the shitty screen writers/studio for pushing too many villains into one movie.

Venom should have been.

Total waste.

why are we limiting ourselves to the movies? Comics, television cartoons, etc. all contribute to the characters, don't they......?

Doc Ock was pretty rad

I liked all the movies villains except for Sandman, and Harry became good. So I had to choose from GG, Doc Ock, and Venom..... and I chose Venom. He was easily the strongest and toughest foe spider-man had to fight in the whole trilogy. He also accomplished in 15 minutes what the other villains couldn't do in a whole a movie and that was to kill a loved one. Also I liked his design in the film.

If you didn't vote Venom you voted wrong

Doc Ock. Venom could have been so much more. Probably my favorite villain in the comics, but they such a shitty job squeezing him into the third film.

there was absolutely no substance to venom as a character. all he wanted was revenge on Peter and that was it. venom was so much more in the comics, but spiderman 3 destroyed what personified him as a good character.

Doc Ock, Alfred Molina was great casting. I'm guessing the 11 votes for Venom didn't realize this poll was only for the movies.

Yeah, how is Venom getting so many votes? As amazing as he was in the comics, the movie equivalent wasn't even a fraction of that.

venom should have been so awesome. instead, he died because someone rang a bell too loudly.

Well that actually is legit, the symbiote can't handle noise, but I agree they should of done it better
but yeah that 3rd movie was fucking awful, the only good scene was the church scene
Foreman is not Eddie Brock

I voted for GG. Venom is my favorite in the comics, but I mean Topher Grace? Eddie Brock is supposed to be huge. Willem Dafoe just nailed his part.

1/100000000000000000000000 is still a fraction...

Not to mention the fact that he never referred to himself in the plural. I thought that was such a small thing they could have easily done but failed.

Green Goblin, definitely. I didn't care too much for Doc Ock; he was okay. Venom/Sandman were ruined by a sub-par film, but could have been much better.

I'm still sour that they ruined my favourite Spidey villain, Venom should have been awesome.
