so i got to come home today. thats actually where im making this journal post. we play the Camden, NJ (Philly) date of Warped today. im prett excited, but i can only imagine how tough its going to be to get back on that bus after being home for a few hours.
we've been playing lot of bocce ball with HelloGoodbye lately. those guys are our new best friends, even though theyre bug chasers. we're gonna tour with them one day...mark my words.
i watched 'The Usual Suspects' last night. pretty sweet movie. im still reading 'The Fountainhead'. i like it alot but goddamn it's long. i've been listening to The Zombies, The Lucksmiths, and Jens Lekman.

Imagine that, a TEN/HGB tour...could this be part of a DTR tour? Since TEN is touring next summer, I would guess that HBG is going to be on that tour???? :thumbup:

that tour would be awesome. both of those bands are really good live! wonder who else would be on that tour?
I can't wait for TEN's tour next summer, The BBQ Across America; it's gonna rule.
I remember reading about another Drive Thru invasion. TEN and HGB would probably co-headline.

HelloGoodbye wasn't bad when I saw them. I don't enjoy their cd that much but at the very least their live show was entertaining.

I remember reading about another Drive Thru invasion. TEN and HGB would probably co-headline.
I recall hearing something about this a while ago (think it was sup to be for the 10yr anniversary?) but haven't heard anything since.
I would LOVE a DTR/Rushmore tour say like TEN/HGB/Houston Calls/Self Against City...that would be very very very nice :aimgrin:

id be all about HIPV, TEN, Self Against City, and houston calls. HIPV needs to be up there because they are one of the best bands on DTR. what does everyone think about the NFG TEN tour comin up?

I'm excited for both tours this fall... The Early November and Hellogoodbye. I'm sure they'll both be awesome. Did you hear about that contest Hellogoobye is doing? DTR just needs to have another DTR Invasion tour w/TEN, HGB, HIPV, HC & SAC. TEN & HGB are hot now so hopefully that type of tour could bring more fans to HIPV/HC/SAC.
The NFG/TEN tour is really great (love Cartel) though they are playing small venues no? TEN could do those venues alone I think...

I'd love to see both of those bands at the same time. A vastly different sound from both. But they manage to bring the fun so.

The Early November is going on tour w/ Steel Train, Valencia & Pete Nischt until October when they will then Join New Found Glory, Cartel, John Ralston, Limbeck & Hit The Lights...
Hellogoodbye is touring w/ Ozma, Cute Is What We Aim For & Peachcake until the end of October when they will replace Ozma & Peachcake w/ Reggie & The Full Effect & Dave Melillo...
These two tours look like they have pretty amazing line-ups to me. Is anyone going to attend any of them???:D

Personally, I am excited for both The Early November's tour w/ New Found Glory & Hellogoodbye's tour w/ Reggie & The Full Effect, Cute Is What We Aim For & Dave Melillo. "The Mother, The Mechanic & The Path" is a fantastic CD and I would love to see them perform these songs live, if they were coming anywhere near my present location, but they are not. Hellogoodbye has always put on a fun and entertaining show whenever I have seen them so I am very optimistic about the quality of the bands they are touring w/ to put on one hell of a show!!!

I mean like a true DTR tour..only DTR bands on the tour..just like the old Drive Thru Invasion tours.
But I am still going to the HGB show and seeing TEN when they support NFG.
