women's curling was the only female sport that i've watched in the last 10 years. maybe a little tennis on the side.

If there is nothin on I'll watch women's tennis if it's a good match. I watched some of women's golf after the British Open and it was somewhat enjoyable. It was when Michelle Wie choked. She does that a lot.

bingo...Tennis is the one I can watch...and curling I watched as well.

in person maybe...on TV, especially the WNBA, it makes me want to kill myself. It isn't any more graceful...it's just weaker
At least in women's tennis, some women show more touch and grace with their shots
Add in women's soccer, in person back in high school that was the sport to watch..but not so much for the game
you guys hit the nail on the head. The only pro women's sport that can be compared to its male counterpart is tennis. Basketball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, etc. are all slow and the gameplay is laughable at times. The women tennis players are awesome and usually just as exciting as the men. That being said, any guy in the top 200 in the world would still beat the number one woman 6-0, 6-0.

the only reason why is because you can't really tell the speed of the game on TV. Hockey BBall etc you can see how much slower they are, but with tennis TV masks that pretty well.

you're the one on crack. Also the reason any man in probably the top 300 could beat either of them is because they are concentrating more on things other then tennis and their games have suffered.

True...but their power and speed, at their best, are still about 80-90% of what the best men's are...so I highly doubt they could compete

Yeah it is. Id watch still even if they didnt wear close to nothing. I will admitt I watch the guys play too when I see it on. I love to play volleyball. Women are great at the sport.
I think the reason I dont watch the WNBA is because I do not care for the NBA too much. There are a lot of skilled shooters because thats what they do. They do not have the guy trying to show off his vertical and dunking ability

I agree about the beach volleyball being somewhat entertaining.
And I don't know if this counts as a sport but those girl pool players who do the trick shots are pretty damn impressive as well.

They could train every day and take it very seriously and they still aren't beating anybody in the top 300.
The woman's game is still pretty fast though. Their serves are a lot slower on average but the groundstrokes are still pretty fast.

haha...from our forum, it seems very few women like sports enough to discuss them...so, I'm gonna take a guess and say no.
13 year old girls loved Women's Soccer a little while back, post Brandi Chastain, but, other than that, haven't heard many stories otherwise
has anyone ever looked at the attendance or tv ratings for the wnba? it's horrible in a really funny way

i agree. it seems that in all women's sports, if a game is between a really good team vs a really bad team, it's gonna be like 10000-1. the us women's soccer team wins most of their games like 5-0 every time. it's boring. whereas in men's sports, a really good team vs a really bad team isn't nearly like that. you could see that if the us hockey team vs the ukraine hockey team it'd be much more of a contest, unlike if those were the women's teams it'd be dumb.

the women tennis players would never be able to handle all the topspin that the men use. i've never hit with a top ranked player in the world, but by the looks of it from tv and in person women hit balls a lot flatter than the men's side.

i'd care about womens tennis if Anna Kournikova and Maria Sharapova started playing and were tied and the tie breaker was a lesbian sex session at mid court.
