i was browsing on imdb and found out that they are suppose to be making a Prince of Persia movie, how sweet would that be.
i think it could be a great popcorn movie.

Still iffy about Jerry Bruckheimer since the first Pirate was better than the rest for me. Some part of this trailer reminds me of the Mummy

just got back from seeing this, and we're all arguing about the end now.
the part at the end when dastan and nizam are fighting underground at the sands of time, and then everything rewinds and they're back in alamut again.
half of my party thinks nizam and dastan pressed the jewel on the dagger to go back in time, and since they were both holding it, they both went back in time. so when they show up back on the stairs in alamut again, both dastan and nizam know all of the shit that has just happened ( in the future).
the other half of my party is convinced that the entire film was a premonition beyond the point where they're on the stairs of alamut the first time. like, that the entire rest of the film is a dream/vision, y'know? they said that dastan and nizam never pressed the jewel together, and so that they couldn't have possibly gone back in time.
and no, i haven't played the games, but some people on both sides of the argument have played the games.

hahaha well the whole premise of the game, and subsequently the movie, is that the sand turns back time so why would they choose to go the whole "the whole thing was a dream!" road, when the character(s) could just as easily have turned back time. duhhh. but i couldn't get them to believe me.
