So...earlier on Rome is Burning, he dropped the " 'Roid Landis" nickname in there...and I know I've heard Jim Rome drop the recent one on Alex Rodriguez, calling him "E-rod" after his recent mistakes.

So, what are the best/your favorite nicknames earned for stupid things or scandals...instead of for talent or being great?

His sarcasm is so over the top at most points that it comes off as that...but in terms of the points he makes, and his intelligence in sports talk radio in general, he is pretty much unmatched.

If he toned down the sarcasm a bit, he'd be more accessibly to everyone, but, it'd take some of the fun away

well he turned down plastic surgery. I think he likes having the scar. It's makes him unique.
Plus he'll still get better looking girls than any of us could even with the ugly face and horrible teeth because he plays 'le foot' better than 99.9999% of the world.

True...but I still laugh during every segment he does on Manny, only because I swear he has his own contest with himself to see how many times he can say "Man-Ram". I think the record for like a 5-10 minute segment has to be near 50.

haha, definitely. I want to see Frank Caliendo host Jim Rome's show once. Like just have it be a 30 min parody of his show where Caliendo just does his Rome impersonation the entire show.
