What are your thoughts on this band? I've had a love/hate relationship with this band for years. They were my favorite band until about '07, then I got into the whole "I'm too cool, I listen to Radiohead and Thursday" mindset. It's fucking music, of course every genre has its cliches, but they're an all around solid band. Especially being from my city, makes it all that more intimate. Hard working guys that have been through so much. Yeah yeah, get past "Ohio is for Lovers", gave them such a bad name.

I didn't really get into these guys until "If Only You Were Lonely" came out, I didn't really care for their debut at all. I liked Fragile Future a lot and their new single sounds pretty good, too.

Every song by this band is one genre cliche after another strung together in a barely coherent structure.
This band is to be enjoyed exclusively by kids (12-14) who don't know any better.

If I discovered them today, I most likely wouldn't be a very big fan, but their first two albums helped me cope with a whole lot of shit around the time they came out; they have a lot of sentimental value to me. I admire their perseverance and really dug the maturation they developed on Fragile Future, and the new album is shaping up to be pretty decent as well.
That probably doesn't make much sense, cause I kinda confused myself haha. I know what I mean though.

i still listen to them, i loved if only you were lonely, it had a lot of catchy songs to it. their first release grew on me too. i have a lot of respect for JP n the rest of them going through casey's death. im interested to see how the new album will sound with screaming apart of their music again. the new song "unforgivable" sounds pretty good.
