hey guys what do you think of the video for the snow patrol song 'chasing cars'? there have actually been 2; one was just a normal video, and then they recently made one that's a bunch of grey's anatomy clips. i actually like that one a lot, but i'm a fan of that show. i love the song too, i intern at universal so i hear it all the time. anyway, if you haven't seen the video, you should definitely check it out: http://music.yahoo.com/ar-296554-videos--Snow-Patrol

I honestly prefer the non-Grey's Anatomy one. It's so simple yet still good to watch.

I agree with serenity, the simplicity works well for the atmosphere of the song... but then again it could just be that I've haven't watched the show...

I really like this CD, I was surprised. Enjoyed "Run" from the last album, but didn't pay much attention to anything else, then I decided to give Eyes Open a chance when it was past along to me, because of the similarly titled tracks (Open Your Eyes, Shut Your Eyes, Hands Open); I'm a sucker for when bands focus in like that. I thought it would be an enjoyable listen through, but wasn't expecting to want to come back and listen to so many tracks time and time again.

You know I got their album, cause I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hands Open....but I must say I was a little disappointed..I don't know..I guess it wasnt a good single to represent the whole album..I still love that song though.

That's actually one of the songs I tend to skip over, I'm more into them for the slower tracks.
I feel your pain on the misleading single front in general, though.

I like some of the slower songs on there, but its just too much for me to handle all in one sitting, haha

snow patrol is on the soundtrack to the movie "the last kiss" starring zach braff and rachel bilson. zach braff, like he did for garden state, actually picked the songs for the soundtrack.
wayyyy to go snow patrol!!!

I also like the more slower/simpler songs of the albums, such as Grazed Knees, or You Could Be Happy... they are just amazing to me.

i think there are three videos. there's the one with the grey's anatomy footage, and then another one where gary is lying around in a bunch of different places. then there's this one i saw in foot locker recently where, for the majority of the video, gary is lying in one place and it starts to rain.

now i'm just confused.

Great song.

Radio/TV has killed it, but since I listen/watch neither, I still love the song.

Yeah, I think there are three. The first one I saw is just him sitting in the rain. Then they did one where he's in the city and starts to lie down in random places. Then, i guess there's the Greys Anatomy one I havn't seen. Personaly, though, I like the first one the best. It was simple, it went with the song. They really didn't need to make another version of the video. It actualy kinda pissed me off.
