Hi ! I'm looking for bands with two lead singers (each capable of handling a full song by themselves), good examples would be Blink-182, Alkaline Trio, GOB, The Lawrence Arms, Less Than Jake. I know I am missing a shitload of bands, so can you guys help me find some more.
And no, bands like Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong, Atreyu, do not count since, to my knowledge, they complement each other, and no one sings a full song by themselves, unless I am mistaken.
Gracias !

On their earlier albums there are a few songs where Alex of Atreyu screams the whole song. "Corseting" is an example.

seriously....it would be really awkward if one of the lead singers of syg was just standing there for an entire song without singing seeing as they both dont play instruments

Nate and Dan both do lead vocals; Dan actually writes all the songs but he typically takes the softer ones on lead (like "The Simple Life", "Lake Tahoe", "Alley Cat", etc.) But they tag-team it awesomely on "Never Ready To Leave", which is probably my favorite.
I actually really prefer Dan's voice.

Dropkick Murphys? Ken and Al don't usually have songs all to themselves, but one usually is more predominant on a given track than the others.
Also, and I've always wondered about this, there's a different vocalist on Spitalfield's "Fairweather Friend" and "From the Desk of B. Larsen." Not sure who it is, but the latter one is one of the best Spitalfield songs.

Jon Mess would be questionable, maybe. But, to deny both Jonny Craig's solo work and Emarosa is just silly, and would take extreme amounts of hate for the man to do so.

Emarosa is pretty damn boring. His voice does absolutely nothing for me, as I've said he cannot hold a song by himself imo. His solo work is laughable. With Mess however the worked well.

ah yes. twas i.
your memory surpasses your musical preference tremendously. jonny craig is unabashedly a 'scene' vocalist, yet i enjoy his earlier work. you caught me. though, i'm not so ashamed of myself in light of you name being xJesusFreakx, and your avatar being a photo of a stereotypical scene girl looking down (at food? a small animal perhaps?), and yet you seem to take a defensive stance over assertions of what is/is not emo.

Good. Being ashamed of your taste in music is really stupid. I'm glad you agree, though this still makes me wonder what's so funny about a twenty-three-year-old loving Deja Entendu. That's in the past, though. I've said plenty of stupid things in my day as well.
in light of you name being xJesusFreakx,
"In the Light" is, indeed, my favorite song on the dc Talk album Jesus Freak. How'd you know?
and your avatar being a photo of a stereotypical scene girl looking down (at food? a small animal perhaps?),
Scene girl? ... Ha, no, that's not a scene girl. Goodness, how embarrassing! That's Selena Gomez. You know, the star of that one Disney Channel series about a little wizard girl? Like most Disney stars, she has an album out, and I actually really like it. Next time you're feeling a need for some more fun pop music, I recommend that you check out Kiss & Tell. "Naturally" is my jam.
(Selena is friends with Demi Lovato, though, who's a big fan of Brand New, so perhaps she is, indeed, a scene girl. I don't think she is, though.)
and yet you seem to take a defensive stance over assertions of what is/is not emo.
I suppose I'm technically getting defensive about emo, depending on how you define "defensive," but it's not from being offended or anything lame like that. I'm far from the popular "emo" stereotype. If anything, I'm a mix of bearded hipster and church nerd, with a touch of pop music tool thrown in for good measure (because [name drop] always goes down much better with a nice Taylor Swift appetizer and Kelly Clarkson dessert). Really, I'm just trying to help you out. Having a more accurate understanding of genre terms can only help in the long run.
