So I was watching How I Met Your Mother (spectacular show, btw) and a dilemma came up which me and my friends have also struggled with before.

Would you rather have a regular mermaid as your lover (top half human, bottom half fish) or the mystical inverted mermaid (top half fish, bottom half human)?

I can't imagine this is a new or unique topic, but come on. It's a seriously relevant problem in all our lives and, as such, deserves some serious replies.

I actually enjoy this topic more than most of the PL topics on this site.
