Andrew McMahon To Start Imprint

Andrew McMahon of Something Corporate (http://www.somethingcorporate.com) / Jacks Mannequin (http://www.jacksmannequin.com) will soon be launching his own imprint label; here's what he had to say:
I am launching a small imprint with an indie label. I hope to find some serious rockstars with some serious talent. If you all come across any special unsigned bands bring a cd to one of our shows and I'll check it out.

Well since Scenes From a Movie just got picked up, Victory Lane is still left unsigned, they'd fit in with his label if he's looking to do pop rock bands.

Long story short he is doing what everyone else does after 2 or 3 albums is start a label and sign bands based on the fact that he was in a good band?
