Haha, I go to UF actually. But I'm a 'Cane fan (both parents went there and have brought me up strictly as 'Cane fans so I stay true to Miami). I still do root for UF though, most of the time haha.

yeah you are clearly leaving out the highly anticipated showdown between Boston College and the super-power program known as BYU.
Thats an instant classic.

Shit! I missed that one. :(

Well...we'll look at it like this. I did not want to go to UF. I went there for academics. Miami is not public, therefore the tuition would be ridiculous. If it was public, I would be there in a heartbeat. I was not going to change 18 years of my life just because I'm going to a certain school.

I would have loved to go to that UL-Miami game, but it starts at the same time the Auburn/LSU game starts. I can't miss Auburn, even to watch the Hurricanes beat Louisville. Bummer I'm missing it, though. It should be exciting. Most exciting game they've had here in a while, maybe since FSU a few years back.

Ahem. Like Western Michigan, this year's MAC Champions. even though we lost the best WR in the school's history in Greg Jennings to graduation, Tony Scheffler our All Conferene TE to the NFL, as well.
please, everyone's clearly going to want to see the Michigan State/Pitt matchup.
but even better is that barnburner on September 2nd: Idaho Vandals vs. Michigan State.

I'll be rooting for the 'Canes as well (if you didn't already notice that). Looks like I'll need to set up two tv's to watch both of these games then. I can't wait!

truer words have never been spoken. being young and in college makes it better than ever too, since you'll be out for the entire night before and wake up just in time for some football.
i love the noon start time. its a beautiful thing.

Hahha sorry you had to see that. But anyway, if you look earlier in the post, I'm a 'Cane fan. The explanation I think is on page one of this thread. I do root for the Gators sometimes, though. And us Jews gotta stick together!

Haha nice! Yeah I could imagine...our school lacks school spirit because we're still young and have so many 40 year olds who want to take a night class and they are accounted for in our enrollment. Ugh. A lot of people wear Virginia Tech stuff which bothers me.
I read the explanation..good stuff...although I cant say I necessarily love Miami either considering they always beat up my local ncaa football team rutgers..which I have to have allegiance for..

Hahaha I see. Yea Rutgers is getting better though, Schiano (former UM coach) is really doing a great job there. They are on the rise, maybe they can beat Miami soon, ya never know.
