Does anyone else even remotely care about this movie? I thought Ultimate Avengers was pretty bad ass, and I'm looking forward to the sequel coming out tommorow...

The first Ultimate Avengers was badass. I'll definitely be getting this at some point, hopefully it's as good as the first.

it's too bad they didn't wait until finishing the current series of ultimates 2 to make that a comic, because honestly, a movie version of a terrorist superhero group taking over america would be fucking great.

I thought the first one was pretty good, I bought it on a whim because I loved the comic. But man, they did a shit job of following the comic, which was frustrating, plus the animation was mediocre 10 years ago, let alone today.

Yeah, it didn't follow the Comic really all that well, but honestly, it was entertaining, and I'm looking to buy both of them sometime soon.

well for a large part im sure that marvel knew this movie would be seen and eaten up by kids, so a lot that was in the original ultimates comic wouldnt have been "appropriate" or whatever. i mean, the hulk going on a rampage and destroying/killing half of new york? i dont think parents would have liked that... but it was still good

so i just got home and watched it.... anyone else? i liked it. i love thor and iron man.... but the sound effects for the chitari's weapons are really annoying...

wasn't a fan of the first movie. i friggin love the hell out of the comic series, but the movie just seemed so watered down, which was pretty disappointing after how much they made it seem like it was going to be a direct translation. guess i'm still waiting for marvel animation to catch up to dc (funny considering the first x-men cartoon is what got me hooked on comics in the fisrt place). i'd appreciate it if anyone who's seen the new one could tell me whether it was an improvement or more of the same.
