i have a single rec solo head, series 2, and its in very good condition. how do i get the best value selling it?

they all go for about $1000. i wouldn't expect more than that. if you put it up for a grand, someone will buy it within 2 weeks. more than that will have to have a couple reposts (this is if youre using craigslist) and if its less, you'll you getting less than what the average seller is getting.

Craigslist would probably be the best, cause if someone wants it, and they want to see it in person, they can. You don't have as big of a spectrum to sell it in, but its safer and imo, its nicer to see the buyer/seller.
Just don't ship it to anyone cause you can get scammed.

$1000? I just searched Craigslist and most of the Single Recs were going for $800-$875. I'd try listing it between $850 and $950 depending on the condition of the amp. If you list on multiple locations of Craigslist then you have to use different listing descriptions for each one.

thanks for the response. i also have a 2x12 mesa cab thats in great condition except for the fact that theres a 12" vertical rip in the middle of the screen. how would that impact the cab's value?
