question (not a poem or lyric)

i was wondering if you guys ever write something and think its good but the next day your like "i can't beleive i wrote this its ridiculous". I get that alot when i write

Yeah it happens, usually it's not after like one day, but rather after a few months or a year or something, I look back at what I was writing a year ago and sometimes chuckle. Usually I just try and give it a nice re edit. But yeah it's a common thing, it's probably a good sign because you are probably improving : )

yeah while i listen to music i sometimes hear different lyrics then what the vocalist is saying and when i look it up and see i heard wrong i sometimes develop that idea a poem. Sometimes i just write a bunch of crap from motivation that hits me like a wave, its there but recedes the next day. And i write it in my myspce blog which i usually delete.

Same deal as Troggy. It's usually a couple months or more before I might look at something and just be ashamed that I wrote it. Definitely happens with some stuff written years back. I rarely write something in one day, I usually get some good ideas, then start threading it all together and making it work, so for the most part I avoid that next-day-gut-punch... but still on the rare occasion I'll get ahead of myself, think I'm a genius, then come back after a day and be like, "w...t...f... was i thinking."

Yeah sometimes, but more often I look back and say "wow this sucks."
