True things could always be worse; however getting raped with fire is worse than just getting raped but getting raped is still pretty damn bad. I.e. while not the absolute worst, this still looks like one of the worst movies that has been made to date.

I meant movie wise. I actually think it doesn't look that bad. People just take these sorts of things way too seriously. For God's sake, its a talking dog. Of course it is going to look stupid and absurd, but thats because the character its based around is stupid and absurd. At least it doesn't look like its going to be racist like supposedly Beverly Hills Chiuaowihwiw (fuck spelling) was.

I disagree though...I feel like even movies like this can be well done (or at least adequately done). Marmaduke didn't even talk in the comic strip yet Owen Wilson's crazy ass is doing his voice. It's like they didn't even try.

And to add to that, I personally find it offensive that Hollywood is so strapped for ideas that something like this has to happen. I know it's not my place to say what should and shouldn't happen in the movie making business but I can't help it when I'm smacked with something like this.
