yeah. I never liked him before we signed him and i don't really like him now, however i'm appreciative of his great 1st half and very good outing his last time out.

other than that, I won't be heartbroken after next year when he's gone and Andrew Miller takes his place in the rotation.

i never bought into that crap that a guy played for a long time so he desreves a title...based on what?

and that argument is stupid "yeah nj has enough titles." youre right, so why should they even play? why should the yankees even play? cuz ya know, theyve won the world series more than a quarter of the years theyve been in existence...

your still bitter. thats like me saying that they fixed the ohio state game against miami so miami couldn't win the title since they had won 5 in the past 20 years going into the game. i was bitter for a long time, but i got over it.

he played a long great career and deserved a ring, you wouldn't be saying this if it didnt involve your team.

i'm not even using nj having enough titles as an argument, but they have been winning and at least have a consistently good team that consistently makes the playoffs. you hate someone because he wanted to win and wanted to go out on top, players do that shit all the time.

the devils team in 2001 was the best team in franchise history and one of the best in the NHL over the past 10 years or so. thats why its fishy to me. look up their team stats for that year. up until this past year with allllll the new rules, that team had the most goals scored by any NHL team over the past 10-15 yeaars or so

welcome to sports, where the best teams dont always win in the playoffs because it only matters who is hot at the time. bourque is a class-act and to give him crap because your favorite team couldnt hack it when it counts is a bunch of bullshit.
