They do this on ESPN all the time, and I thought it would be kind of cool if maybe we did something like that on here...or my idea might be completely stupid. I was wondering what you guys thought. We could just pick a few topics a week and discuss them.

Say something like...

1) Fact or Fiction: The loss of Rhett Bomar at Oklahoma takes them out of the title chase before the season starts.

Just random idea to throw out there, what do you guys think?

Fact, they don't have a legitamate starting quarterback, and Peterson won't be enough to carry their team.

Fiction. It doesnt take them out of the chase, but it does hurt their chances.

I personally would go with fiction. Bomar did not do that much last year and Peterson was hurt. They ended the year on a high note. If Peterson is a 100 percent, this team has a chance to make a run. I don't think they will get to the title game, but I wouldn't call them out just yet...not with Bob Stoops as coach.

p.s ..adding a poll in the future may make it better.

i prefer to make them public too, so everyone know where others stand.

Haha that would be quite entertaining. I really like the fact/fiction feature though. I recently got into these forums a lot more than I used to so I thought it would be something cool to add. I guess we'll see. :shrugs:

We should do PTI when anyone other than Wilbon/Kornheiser is doing it.

haha...I have access to video equipment at my school...if I get really bored over winter break, I may do it for sheer hilarity

haha, i know. It is a good idea, though. I like it, at least. This is already like a text version of ATH/PTI/sports talk shows only with more "shut up ***" and "holocaust > you" which i saw theclearstuff drop on someone the other day.

Hahaha oh god could you imagine that on ESPN? Wilbon telling Kornheiser to "stfu noob" or something. That would make for great television haha.

Well, I've been on TV, my high school did a cable show for our district that I was on for a year...so, if I can drag up footage of taht online, I'll link it...that should hold you over on hilarity until I decide to do the basketball idea

haha...sadly, no luck on the archive footage...but, my hair I know used to be sooo long
