Brendan Benson solo or w/ the Raconteurs

Which do you prefer Brendan Benson solo or with the Raconteurs? The raconteurs already have a lot more success then Brendan ever had on his own. The Raconteurs are all over mtvU (http://www.mtvu.com/music/house_band/) (link to one of their interviews)for instance.

The Raconteurs album is good but nothing on "Lapalco" in my opinion, which is a classic. Still, I'm glad for the Raconteurs, and it's not like he'll never make more solo albums.
