amazing. i wish more than anything that i could've gone. if Kanye plays anything close to that amazing of a set at Bumbershoot....i dont know what i'll do. it'll be incredible. i doubt he will though, since he was in his home town. but still. amazing.

Added Broken Social Scene- by far the best performance of the weekend and they only got a 45 minute set. The crowd was demanding an encore- my first witness of actually seeing a true encore request (which didn't happen), but the Chili Peppers manager wouldn't allow it and what followed was probably the most disappointing set of the weekend at the RHCP stage. If BSS plays anywhere near you, *go see them*!

I'm still trying to find Mute Math and Anathallo. I know Mute Math did Collapse, Typical, Stare at the Sun, and Chaos and Anathallo did A Great Wind, More Ash and Dokkoise House. I missed most of Anathallo because I got there a little late on Friday and only saw half of Mute Math because Stars and the Editors were playing at the same time. Such a sucky spot for them, but they still had a solid audience and were definitely were of my top 5 acts of the weekend. Iron & Wine, The New Pornographers, and Kanye West did excellent sets as well.

Thank you sir! :)

Yes, I definitely didn't see all the sets above- it's a compilation of all the artist I could find there plus some I remembered.

I'm wondering why The Dresden Dolls hardly ever play Sing live though. It seems like a really significant live song both because it's the latest single on the new album and because of it's meaning.
