View Full Version : Favorite 5 movies of all-time

FuryCore

Here are mine in no particular order...

Fight Club
Vanilla Sky
American Beauty
American Pie
Road Trip

Keep in mind that I don't pick my favorite movies based off how critically acclaimed or complex they are, nor do i select them based on who is in them or who directs them. I just picked the movies that have the most overall staying power and sentimental value with me.

I'm going to go with some jumble of the following movies.
1. Rushmore
2. - 21. I Heart Huckabees, The Shawshank Redemption, Moulin Rouge!, Office Space, Big Fish, Garden State, The Sting, Howl's Moving Castle, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Saving Private Ryan (Band of Brothers if I can include Mini-Series), Serenity, Shaun of the Dead, Batman Begins, the Godfather, Army of Darkness, 28 Days Later, Signs, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bamg, Monsters Inc. and of course...Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

I started with a top 5, cut out too much, had to make top 10, made it in to a top 15 when I didn't want to cut out more. I really do not know if I could possibly make a top 5 movies, especially with my mind giving me a likely incomplete top 15. Top 20would be more fun. I could actually probably cut it down then...screw it...top 20. This is why I hate making lists, I'm really bad at narrowing down.

This is why I hate making these lists! I couldn't keep A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back off the list, yet I forgot them! Sonofab! This thread is killing me with the incredible exposure of my indecisiveness.
