What? He has more fearsome enemies? Like the Joker, who has no real powers? Like the Riddler? Like THE PENGUIN? Come on. Sure Superman often fought Lex Luthor, but what about Brainiac? What about Darkseid? What about DOOMSDAY? How could Batman possibly stop any of them? He fought villains without powers. He would not stand a chance against any of Superman's enemies. And that was with one arm tied behind his back

Now, Superman, the ONLY person left standing goes out and stands toe-to-toe with Doomsday. Big blue and supes go at it so hard that the sheer force of their blows take out the whole frickin' city of Metropolis with the shockwaves (again, no joke. Read the comics.)

Finally when they are both finished, they ended up killing each other with their last blows. So there ya go, Superman is equal in power with Doomsday (because they ended up killing each other, so it was a draw) who easily devastated the whole JLA. I am more of a Marvel person. But I'm going to say Superman. People are saying you could easily kill him with Kryptonite, but many have tried and all have failed. it's a story created by the writers where they allowed Doomsday to win. I'm sure they could have the spun story around so many ways where someday else could have defeated Doomsday. It was something to heighten up the story. It might have been a good story, but the argument isn't whether or not who would win in a match, but who you like better.
