How do you buy tv shows? Because I'm thinking it's going to be cheaper to buy Entourage, The Office, and My Name Is Earl rather than buying cable or satellite.

I'm talking about buying them a show at a time. Can't you do that?

I'm going to go ahead and tell you this - it would not be cheaper, unless that is all you watch. I'm going to say a word, you do what you want with it. TorrentSpy.

probably a dumb question, but when you buy shows/videos off iTunes, can you burn them to a dvd?

I missed something here--why would you want to buy them 1 show at a time?

I like to have the boxes and stuff... but I'm sure its a lot cheaper that way.

Most likely for ipod video.

So you can watch them when the show airs, or the next day, instead of waiting months for the DVDs to release.

To be fair, DVDs are much better quality, and often include lots of extras. And they are hard copies instead of digital. It's not surprising they were cheaper.
iTunes is pretty much the only way to go to buying digital episodes. The amount of shows you can get from it is astounding. I myself get shows using torrents, but seeding them is a bastard sometimes.

HAHA, I see. I'm an idiot bro--I was under the impression he wanted to buy like, Scrubs Season 1, one episode at a time.
Yeah, I do that all the time, torrenting TV shows I miss :)

ya you can also download the videos from other sources by Mpg. and convert to IPod, i dont get why you have to buy a dvd or show when it was already on tv, i mean you dont watch the commericials anyway, so how is downloading the show free being illegal when you could of hit record on your vcr, tivo, what not.

Hmm...turns out I'll be saving my money. Especially since the only one that matters right now is Entourage, which they don't sell on itunes.
