jesus. i didn't know that dude was still playing.
i remember watching a game years and years ago where he went deep twice in the same inning, once from each side of the plate.
impressive.
at least i'm pretty sure it was him.

I have an assload of NFL figures out of the box, and a bunch of mlb and nba still in the box. I got one of shaq when he was first traded to the lakers. i think they are worth a little bit.

McFarlane does NFL and NHL ones now. I don't know if the Starting Lineup brand is still around.

yeah mcfarlanes in charge of all that shit now. it's pretty lame. i stopped buying them. his figures are like 10 bucks. fuck that. i go into little kid mind frame when it coems to that shit.
i was actually a smart kid and left most of mine in the boxes. the only ones i have out are the first series from 1988 ozzie smith, and an early larry bird one. i have about 60 total probably. i have a few that are woth quite a bit of money, e smith rookie, aikman rookie, bonds from 89, and the 92 dream team set which i got at target in like 94 for 20 bucks. i love those things. when i go back home next week ill snap pics for you guys.
when i was in mexico a few weeks ago i was watching espn deportes and carlos baerga was an analyst for baseball esta noche which is baseball tonight in spanish

I'm almost too young for that. They started to develop into whatever they have now when I started buying them.

wow, well your 23 so you had a few years on me, probably had the chance to get the earlier ones. I guess as far as notable ones..i have the last clyde drexler made...as well as the last charles barkley, the first shaq as a laker...i have a montana/rice double, a aikman/smith double. a warren moon with a litlle coin thing in it.
uh...eddie george rookie, mark brunell rookie, griffey jrs first one as a red, a rare emmit smith from albertsons i think, marvin harrison rookie...thats all the notable ones i think.
those were fun as hell to collect though. i wish kenner still had them.
i like the mcfarlaine ones, but they pretty much make a new batch whenver they feel like it, and its half mediocre players half good ones.
I miss him and his Indians days
Those starting line up things. I have Joe Montana, Steve Young, John Elway, Dan Mariano, Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, Eddie George, and I think thats all. I have an Albert Belle one too ha

Carlos Baerga was a pretty good player when he was on Cleveland... And then he got traded to the Mets. Bastard.
I remember him playing for Arizona for a bit...
