Cuba Gooding Jr's career isn't as dead as Rourke's was, but he needs to stop doing lame-ass straight to DVD flicks and do some real films again.

luke wilson, comes to mind. Again his career didn't sink as low as Rourke's did but he's really only doing AT&T commercials now.

I agree. Every time I put out new releases at my store and I see one copy of a new Cuba GJr movie my heart is sad

Big money for little to no work. I can't say I blame him.

I already got mine with Robert Downey Jr bringing the awesome in Iron Man. God that rocked. Sherlock holmes not so much. But it was decent. But i'm hanging out for Iron Man 2.

Is your avatar Ben Affleck? It looks like him but i can't tell with the beard. He might be due for a comeback since we're in this thread anywho.

Only a year, believe it or not. The movie he was supposed to be promoting when he went nuts on Letterman came out in Jan. of '09. It's actually supposed to be really good. I'm planning on watching it this weekend.

yes. luke wilson to me has had some questionable movies. old school was definitely tops from what i have seen. but idiocracy or whatever was trash. and not to mention bongwater was a star studded joke. but for some reason i like this guy a lot though and would like to see him do more.

Ben Affleck is better off behind the camera. Gone Baby Gone was great, and I cannot wait to see how good The Town is.

I think we're talking about the same movie? Two Lovers is his last one as far as I know. I was wrong about the date, though: its theatrical release was actually Feb '09.

Absolutely. The man had a phenomenal decad in the 80's and then poof.

I'd like Matthew Broderick to step it back up too.

Arnold.I don't think his career ever went south, but he's definitely busy with other stuff, haha. Pretty sure he's gonna be in that new Stallone movie though. Don't know how big of a part.

I wish Nicholas Cage would do a good movie again so people would stop bashing him.
Leaving Las Vegas? Adaptation? Come on, people.

He was recently in Kick Ass which some people are claiming is a return to form.

1) Nic Cage's most recent leading performance is pretty darn good (Bad Lieutenant)
2) I don't get why people care about Cuba Gooding Jr. "returning to form" ... I think his good performances are more flukey than his bad performances
