What do you guys think of this show. I love Kevin, though he can get pretty annoying. Though, I do miss the blond haired girl (her name escapes me). The new girl is hot, but she just seems to dumb to be on that show in my opinion. My biggest problem is "The Feed". I hate Laila, she serves no purpose other than to show of her big boobs and british accent. Kevin could give that news at the beginning, quicker and probably funnier. She is deadweight, also their Snakes On A Plane week was awesome.
Appreciate and remember the many former reincarnations of this show.

I think the sense of humor on this show is usually pretty dumb (not in a good way), forced and "I'm acting cool, but I'm really a geek and I make fun of geeks to convince people I'm cool". As far as the sex advice goes, what the fuck? This show definetly has an identity crisis. It goes from being a Tech/Video Game/Pop Culture show to Loveline for geeks and guys who have had sex like twice with some fat chick. And the way they go about it...is just stupid. Also 'The MySpace girl' segment, lame.

i know exactly what you mean, they try to fit too much stuff in a little cable show. Yeah, i miss sara lane and even fucking kevin rose. I dont care about sweaty geeks who cant get a date, i would rather hear about industry developments and stuff of that nature. every show on G4 that used to be just news has either been cancelled or changed (AOTS). I still watch it because its my only source of live action "news" about this stuff, but new magazines and (mostly) shitty bands arent things i need to know about every week.

yeah, they used to have a fat bald dude on Screen Savers too, then when it changed to the new station i was like "no way he will still be around" and then next thing i knew, he disappeared. not hip enough i guess. thats what gets me, i guess there arent enough nerds like me to fund a channel, so they have to be "cool" to really pay the bills.
I enjoy AOTS, they bring up some interesting discussions. Though I do miss Screen Savers with Leo Laporte.
I enjoy watching Attack Of the Show, it may not be the funniest thing ever but at least it has personality to it not like every other channel.
Oh and I do have a major crush on Layla Kayleigh.

Oh by all means Layla Kayleigh isn't ugly, I just prefer Olivia Munn. I think Sara Lane is the most knowledgeable of the three.

The only time I have liked the new version was the recent "Violence in Video Games" 'discussion' between Jack Thompson and Adam Sessler, other than that, the only time I'd seen it before was about the last month or two with the other Kevin on it up until the change.

Blair is alright. But she is pretty horrible when she fills in on X Play. Absolutely no emotion, its like a smaller, worse looking morgan webb.

True, even with all my bitching, it is still one of the best shows on tv. I dont make an effort to watch many shows, but if im not doing anything by that time, its the only thing i will watch.

once k rose left, i felt like the show started getting worse..and then they lost sarah and brendan moran which was another downfall...but I do love kevin perierra. He is a real smart ass, and since it's live television, it works perfectly..I agree with the sex advice being lame. i just want movie/game/tech news from the show.....
oh, and olivia munn is hot, but not right for the hosting position, + leila kayleigh has a maxim photo shoot, but i'm too lazy to pull the link up on it.

True, it pisses me off when they just try to keep pushing the blame to someone else. If the games do so much "harm" make them like cigarretes and tobacco, put an age limit that is followed, but until that day happens, their behavior is very hypocritical. its still very easy to get a M game, no matter what your age, if it was that big of a problem, there would be tougher laws, they just need another villian to take away focus from other fuck-ups

Yeah, it's really easy, but I NEVER sell m-rated games to any kid without a parent. Same goes for movies and music.

I think a lot of it is ignorance. Or making the PlayStation/Xbox/etc. the babysitter is a higher priority than actually caring what kids play. Ignorance breeds people like Jack Thompson, who feed on fear. Specifically, of another Columbine.

its the age old case of people fearing what they do not understand. they see one incident and all of a sudden its an industry problem or conspiracy to turn youngsters into killers. Its easier to blame a lifeless machine than a parent that doesnt care or a bully that gives people shit all day.

i honestly cant stand oliva. she has no emotion. when the camera goes to her, her face and eyes stare at the camera nonstop. shes like a robot, emotionless. it bothers me. layla kayleigh, however, i love. shes hot.

I think its just the show without the commercials, I'm not quite sure since I don't watch it when it airs. You can also stream most if not the whole episode on the their site.

It wasn't until I was reading this thread that I realized I don't have this channel anymore. I have Court TV now, wtf? I always used to watch it when it was Tech TV (AKA better), but when G4 rolled around and old, dear Leo left, I stopped watching. I occassionally watched AOTS, but I guess I can't do that anymore.

The Daily Nut, on the other hand is amazing. It's like Around The Net, but better.

I miss Kevin Rose's dark tips, Sarah Lane was a cutie, her gems of the internet was one of my favorite segments.
I loved it when Tech TV was still in SF
It's hard for me to watch. They do a lot of pointless "Jokes".

TechTV is what this channel should have stayed, and they lost a lot of viewers in the swtich. They got rid of good shows and replaced them with shit. Hurl? Cops? Ninja Warrior? Star Trek? And worst of all, Cheaters? Attack Of The Show is the only show on the channel I can even tolerate. They do pay the older shows early in the morning, which is cool.

I really like the cast actually, I think too often they get bogged down in stuff that has nothing to do with tech or games though and I wish they'd trty to keep the focus on what g4 should actually be showing. I do like Kevin and Olivia though
olivia is by far one of the hottest women ever, period.
i like kevin and olivias chemistry, but i think that chris hardwick is hilarious, maybe funnier than kevin.

Yeah. That was 99% of the reason I psoted it. lol
I didn't read the entire thread, but here's my opinion on the show:
Kevin is an annoying twat, and he plays the role of every annoying commenter you've ever seen on Kotaku, Joystiq, whatever. I don't know if that's actually his opinions on the matter, but it's how he acts and that bothers the hell out of me.
Olivia is stupid, and that ruins any hot factor for me. Call me old fashioned, but I'm not into banging bricks. Not even hot bricks.
The sexual aspect of the show is unnecessary and it doesn't fit. At all.
And last but not least, everything they do seems halfassed. The show is not well done in the least, and it doesn't seem to know what the hell it wants out of itself.
I miss G4 when it used to be about games, instead of being similar to MTV (for music, obviously) where it's 30 minutes games, 23.5 hours of Spike TV Jr.
