What looks good?

I'm looking for a new comedy along the lines of The Office, Scrubs, Arrested Development... something without a laugh track.

And I'm looking for a good drama - so far, I've got Six Degrees, Heroes, and The Nine to check out.

Anything else?

I'm pretty sure Curb is done for good, or at least will be taking a hiatus.

They have the pilot on Netflix, I watched it yesterday. It is incredible. If anyone was a fan of Sports Night, this is perfect for them. It takes a similar concept (running a show) and expands on it with a far bigger cast and much bigger actors and asperations. The premiere was probably one of my 5 favorite series premieres ever. Studio 60 blows away the West Wing, in my opinion, Aaron Sorkin is back to form with this one. It screams quality with every aspect of it, Matthew Perry is great and I'm excited about seeing Nathan Corddry in a comedic/dramatic acting role. Everyone watch it, it will flat out be one of the best shows this year. I'm kinda pissed though, same time as Prison Break, I think I might actually download Prison Break now and watch Studio 60.

I absolutely love that show. It's such a shame that it was cancelled, it was a truly great show that was greatly misunderstood by its' audience. I think the first season people were confused because it was a drama with a laugh track to most and then second season it was a comedy with no laugh track, and people just couldn't handle it. Sometimes people need their hand held when it comes to TV watching, which is rather sad really. I'll have to bust that DVD set out when I get back to school, it's a really rewatchable series.

The Office. I need to find out what happens with Jim and Pam.

I just watched the office entire season two almost twice in 2 days.

I am waiting for that to start. Unfortunately, Scrubs and Lost are now not starting till January-ish, so thats depressing.

And I agree with the Jim/Pam comment. I hated season 1 and wrote the show off because Steve Carrel was trying too hard imo. It was the role as well. I love how season 2 developed Jim, Pam, Kevin, Stanley, Phyllis, etc. It made the show a lot funnier.

Lost is starting mid-October, running til the end of November, then taking a break til February. From there, it's running until May.

I've been watching The Office seasons a few times too. I get so excited everytime I watch the season finale. I cannot wait to find out what happens. Have you watched the online webisodes? They're cute, onmy 2 mins long but still. It almost adds up to another episode.

Scrubs isn't starting till January? Booooo...

The Office, definately. It's one of the few shows that I constantly watch.
24. But, I'm hoping to get Season 5 on DVD first. I started watching it late, and watched Seasons 1-4 on DVD.
House. I just got into the series, so I'm also hoping to get the other seasons on DVD, so I can catch up. It's sad, they're showing re-runs that I've already seen, and I started watching the series in June.
Maybe Lost. My family loves the series, and watches it religiously. But, since it comes on during the school year, I only caught it occasionally.
I've been wanting to get into Scrubs, can anyone tell me what it's about?
