Chris's version is almost unlistenable. No offense to him, I like his band, but the acoustic version on the two tongues album is TERRIBLE.

I'll admit. I'm a bit of a Say Anything fan-boy so everything I say when it comes to Max & Say Anything is a little biased. But going purely on a technical, tone type thing. Chris is whinier than ever before on that song. I couldn't even listen to all of it. I think it suits the songs he writes and works on really well normally but on Every man Has A molly it just seemed terrible.

And out of place too, Max's baritone is perfect for it, rough, ragged, a little forced even. But Chris whining? I don't think any girl is going to be upset at the thought of missing rough sex with someone who whines like that. It totally throws the song off for me.

I did like the Two Tongues record though.

I saw both Saves The Day & Say Anything live last February, and Saves the day was definitely top 5 out of the bands I saw. Say Anything was the best, Jack's Mannequin a close second and, despite the fact I got dragged to their show and don't really like their music, HelloGoodbye were INCREDIBLE live. I'd go to a show if they were playing just to see them again.

That sounds like a pretty awesome show. I saw Jack's Mannequin with Fun and they were amazing, but I mean, you compare them to Fun it's kinda hard.

That's interesting that Hellogoodbye was so good. I always liked their music but I would never think of them as an Incredible live show. I'll have to look out for them.
