Witch House is only slightly less annoying than chillwave, I think the term "Tumblrcore" is more apropos anyhow. Seems like more sub par bands with meaningless symbols are popping up daily.

yeah browsing the last fm group it's a mix of people who sincerely like this stuff and some who just want to be on the forefront of some perceived e music movement in the wake of the chillwave explosion. but whatever, i'm in the group to be cool and cos i think it's pretty funny to watch that splintering unfold.
