hey ya'll
i play instrumental music...kind of like the appleseed cast meets explosions in the sky/tristeza with dashes of american football and unwed sailor thrown in...that said, i'd like to add something that sets me apart from those bands...
i'd like to add some sound manipulation aspects to my setup, but....this is completely new territory to me.
i've been looking at the korg KP2 for signal processing, its touch screen is pretty badass, but i dont know anything else i should be looking for. obviously i'd be using my macbook up on stage as well, i have logic express for that, and am trying to get ableton live as well.
most of the vst/au units i use are freeware i've found searching the internet.
budget IS limited, but im just looking for suggestions...
good effects pedals/boards?
good synths for computer?
even a good keyboard (the one im using is from like 8 years ago from radioshack or something, but it has a midi output).
