Evergreen Terrace has a whole covers CD (Writers Block) with a lot of awesome songs on it.
The Devil Wears Prada covers the Spongebob theme.
Throwdown covers Baby Got Back.
There's a Shai Hulud/Boysetsfire split where they both cover a Metallica track.
Killswitch Engage does a sick version of Holy Diver.
Colin of Arabia covers The Day My Thoughts Turned To Murder.

Um, no.
That's not what the person was talking about, as bands like the Devil Wears Prada and the Maine hardly can be considered hardcore.
I think the album that was being hinted at was 'Too Legit For the Pit' or something along those lines. The best song on it was easily Throwdowns cover of 'Baby Got Back'
Oh, and wow. I highly doubt 'Still Fly' is where your life is it unless you have a quarter tank of gas in your new E-Class (or whatever suv he was referencing). But then again, everyone nowadays makes extremely over the top ridiciolous claims about music.

I also remembered Rise Against covered Sick of It All on their latest album, but might just be on the UK version or something. They covered Built To Last on the Sick Of It All tribute album. I'd rather just listen to SOIA tbh. I do have a version of Minor Threat that they did live.

In Fear and Faith - Gangsta's Paradise...

This is not really hardcore but Confide's cover of Such Great Heights has officially ruin that song for me

Stretch Arm Strong - Get This Party Started [ftw]
Their cover of Melt With You is by far their best. GTPS and Expres Yourself covers are simply ok.
Thrice's cover of Send Me an Angel is killer, albeit Thrice is not truly hardcore, but this cover has a hardcore influence. Also love their Eleanor Rigby cover.
Evergreen Terrace's Writer's Block album has a couple of decent covers, Mad World being my personal faovrite and Sunday Bloody Sunday also being solid.
