I think this movie is overrated and definitely not Charlie Kaufman's best (not to say that it's bad, I just don't think it's as good as everyone tries to say...and the '/hipster' thing was way right). I think Adaptation and his...adaptation for Confessions of a Dangerous Mind are way better than this.

I loved every second of it, and have seen it about 6 times and it only got greater each time.

Realistically my favorite movie is Children of Men, but I feel that will never changed

I found this to be the most enjoyable movie watching experience I've ever had, and to me it's "the greatest movie of all time".

So no it's not a joke, and yes its my opinion. I'm aloud to have those.

Its all good sir. I was more disapointed in Gigantic than anything. I really like the cast so I went in expecting to enjoy it. I completly agree with you on Children of Men though. Amazing film, wish I had seen it on the big screen.

Children of Men the first time in theaters was probably the greatest experience I've ever had in my life (and I've been to warpt tour and lost my virginity at the age of 14, so that's saying something)

I went into it expecting nothing. I remember my girlfriend left the theater crying at the scene when she was giving birth and when I asked her why she told me her heart hurt from beating so fast, and I knew exactly what she was talking about.

It was an intensity like I've never felt in my entire life and I don't think you could ever fully explain to someone.

Gigantic is just the kind of movie that made me happy in so many ways. I had just seen There Will Be Blood so Paul Dano was fresh in my mind as Amazing.

And since I saw Manic a long time ago Zooey's been my favorite actress (And I had just listened to She and Him Vol 1).

Movies are all about the experience in my opinion. What if you were really sick when you saw (for example) Saving Private Ryan, it's possible you would think it was just awful.

I just had a great experience and whenever I watch Gigantic it brings me back to that moment.

So I love it. Hope that makes more sense.
