In terms of showing anything from the movie...or telling me it won't be cliche as fuck...this trailer sucked. But, the running biblical quote makes me wonder which direction this movie is taking...I'm actually kind of curious now.

So, in that case, the trailer might actually be good...but, if the try to make the man some sort of sick martyr...that's just fucked up

Plot:

"Jigsaw has disappeared. I'm lost for a plot. So Amanda is taking over for Jigsaw, who is practically dead. They kidnap someone who has to keep him alive, before another person they kidnapped completes their own task?

I'm sure there will be some stupid twist at the end, but it's tired now. I loved Saw because it was so small and still so gruesome, and they changed that with Saw 2 into a glorified slasher flick.

It basically sounds like he won't be "practically dead", it will just be a cover up for the ending. Or, if they decide they want to make this an every Halloween sort of occurence, they'll find some way to make a new killer take over..either way, it sounds fucking weak plot wise

I don't think he'll die. I know he is dying at the end of Saw 2, but he won't die in this one. I agree that the twist will come out of that.

Saw had a great plot in my opinion. 2 people linked in some way, who are being punished for sins they've commited to themselves, and the people around them. The only way out was to saw their way out through their legs. That's a good decent horror plot in my opinion, and the whole detective thing for them trying to get out made it better.

Saw 2 had NOTHING to do with saws in the first place, a considerably weaker cast (I know acting in the first one wasn't exactly top-notch, but number 2 wasn't any better) and an insane plot. I loved it purely for the needle pit and the kid in the safe. Everything else was trash.

True...I just really didn't like the second one, so I am staying leary of the 3rd one until I see it.

Saw II was decent.

This is going to be even worse. That saddens me, but sequels are like that.

i think it's possible that Saw 3 might actually make up for Saw 2, but i could be wrong.
