OMGZ this thread is going to have 100+ replies. Ok, so I finally listened to this cd today, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. My only complains are a) the introduction and b) the intermission. I understand what they were trying to do with it, but it just becomes annoying, and I always find myself skipping over it. If you would like to discuss this cd fine, but no "OMG they're awesome" or "I luv this band" or "they're so hawt" please.

annoyingly repetitive...it was fun for about 3 weeks, and then the same 3 lines repeated 20 times per song got old fast...perfect for radio though

I would completely agree that there is no replayability, but I hadn't listened to that cd in well over 5 months, so it wasn't too bad for me

I wouldn't say I really enjoy them, but it's certainly not terrible

I enjoy listening to this cd on occasion. I certainly dont hold anything against them for getting popular, and if anything, good for them.

i disagree. i listen to it ALL THE TIME, and have done so for a while now.
there is so much to it, and the lyrics are awesome as well, i like trying to decipher them and figure out what they mean

I find the lyrics are just too bubbly for me. All the songs seem to be about the same thing. For example, when I listened to "Lying is the..", I could relate to the lyrics mildly because I just had a girlfriend cheat on me and yada yada, but it's nothing that is moving or inspiring. There's only so many ways you can re-tell heartbreak and shit that happens with girls.

Thrice on the other hand, their lyrics for "Cold Cash, Colder Hearts" are lyrics that you can take past the original meaning

Spin it again. Maybe you'll hear a few different things than you did when you first listened to it. When you go back on older albums, you either pick up the great things off of it, or find the things about the cd you really dislike

liked it for like 2 weeks, really dislike it now except for "Casmido" and "Time To Dance"

it got really stale... maybe in a month or so i'll rediscover it. until then, its not terrible.

I enjoy a listen through on occasion. In my opinion the 2nd half of the CD is better. "I Constantly Thank God For Esteban" and "There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of it Yet" are my two favorites.

I think the intermission should have been shorter... I can get through the intro just fine but the intermission is just too damn long.

I absolutely hate cds with an intermission or an introduction.

Exceptions: AFI's Decemberunderground/Sing The Sorrow

The album as catchy as hell, and for some reason it never got old to me (it holds some pretty crazy memories of early fall).

The last track is excellent.

I really disliked this record for the first six months it was out... my store manager at work burned it for me and told me to check it out again and over time I grew to really like it.

I don't think it has any staying power, but it's fun.

i swear, i hyped this band up so much at school and the summer 05 when they had 2 songs and so many people fell in love with them....then all of us hit a wall and stopped listening to them almost completely after 2 weeks. i dont know what happened. i loved it when i first listened to it fully

I never listened to Panic! until they were already huge. I felt obligated to give them a chance... and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very solid disk, very catchy and enjoyable.

It DOES get annoying though. I only put it on once every few weeks, or when I have a long period of being in the mood for it.

Time to Dance seems to be the one everyone gets into. Its my least favorite for some reason (not including intro/inter)

I hated some of the beginning songs, like Camisado and Nails for Breakfast....

but the rest of the cd is quite catchy. I was obsessed for a while.

it was one of the contributing CD's that got me into the music discussed on this forum.

I remember the album was so addicting but once I write sins was played over and over. I really hated them. Mostly because of that song.

But I still carry warm thoughts of Time to Dance

To me it's such a kill of the music. I don't mind small instrumental songs, but that intermission is really long and I feel it ruins the cd

The intermission is just boring. Personally, when i listen to P!ATD, I'm looking for a good singalong and a good time. You hit the intermission and you just want to turn it off. Fun-killer.
