So my philosophy final, which was going to be open notes based off of summaries we have written for homework throughout the semester will now be closed book because of some kids who still haven't figured out that if you are going to cheat, do not copy VERBATIM from sparknotes. Teachers know! And they will find out, you will get a zero, and now the rest of the class, myself included who worked hard and wrote summaries in their own words, are being punished because of a few assholes who haven't learned how to cheat.

tldr: In college and kids are still cheating, and doing it badly.

It's amazing how many professors do not change their exams. So, it's pretty convenient to get a hold of a back test and use that to study.

my bio 105 professor used the same exams 3 semesters in a row. we got a hold of some and memorized them and i never made below a 96 on any of them. the thing is i actually learned stuff cheating, so i guess it worked.

I know! Because you're memorizing a few selected topics/way to answer the question/topic, you'll end up remembering it as opposed to having to study 10 times as much material. It's ironic.

The guy next to me in Micro cheats on every test. It's a class of 80 with no seats empty, so we're practically on top of each other, and he just holds a paper in his hand. He always gets like, 2 points better than me on every test - so frustrating.

But he's a nice guy :shrug:
