Clover. Didn't it infect people, too? I remember that girls head or something exploding behind the tarp. They are both destructive but Clover has more of a flair for the dramatics i.e. knocking the shit out of the Statue of Liberty. However, Godzilla did lay eggs in Madison Square Garden without anyone noticing.

For those less familiar with Godzilla: he/it can not only either spit cold fire (1st movie, he pretty much set all of Tokyo on fire) or pretty much has a ray which is a focused nuclear explosion.
PLUS, when in contact with anything, he can give it a nuclear-powered electric shock.
Oh and he has psychic mind-fucking abilities LOL. And usually he is indestructible (also, has extremely high speed regeneration).
BTW, look up Orga. That's pretty much a simplification of Clover, but with powers. Clover's army doesn't matter in a duel.
/grew up with Godzilla.
That said, I liked Cloverfield, if not because it's a less cheesy (but still cheesy) monster movie. And look forward to the next one. Anything to be made nowadays with Godzilla on it scares me. Sometimes I wish only the first movie existed, because that is the one movie where everything gets fucked up and everyone is miserable.

pretty much this. Godzilla's cells also help him regenerate from damage, seeing how he survived all that damage all those years (Godzilla vs Bioletta). Godzilla has faced greater odds, and has succeeded. Clover may put up a fight, but it will not come out victorious.
