My gosh I love this band. Most anticipated album for me ever. I have no idea why these guys aren't huge, they could eclipse Saosin in an instant after ISOSG screwed them over. It's just godly.

I like how they have a band member for "Lights/Charisma". Haha.

[EDIT] I signed up for the mailing list but didn't get the link to download the four songs. Now I'm pissed. :-(

this is some really good stuff. i'm a big fan now. and i completely agree, saosin has gotten progressively worse since anthony left. though of their new crappy cd, there was like 1 good song.

I'm so glad this thread didn't get buried, this band really needs more attention. But yeah they are freaking awesome. This blows Saosin's self-titled out of the water, and I thought that was amazing as well. ITS seriously deserves some credit for doing so well in this style.

It was kinda funny how I discovered them though; they were trolling Secret and Whisper's myspace asking them if they could be put at their top friends because apparently S&W is ITS's biggest influence. So I humored them and decided to check it out. Blew me away completely.

I think he has just a liiiiittle bit higher of a range than Cove. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

i dunno. i think cove has the higher range vocally, he just never uses it (because saosin has moved away from their higher anthony-sounding stuff, which they shouldn't have done). i think this guy from illuminate has a BIGGER range than cove. thats just my opinion, i'd have to listen to them side by side.

This sounds like a proper follow-up to the s/t sound. This band sounds a lot more like Saosin than S&W. This guy's vocal patterns and overall vocal tone is very much like Cove's. Me gusta.

Yeah nice find man. Since Saosin started to suck it has made me go to such good bands like Secret & Whisper, Closure in Moscow, and now these guys.

Nope. I just love their music to death and want them to get more attention. lol. And I was just curious in regards to the whole favorite song thing; I meant to ask that earlier through a poll but it slipped my mind.

If I were though you'd probably see me spamming this band in every post I make in every thread instead of actually contributing... (a word to all the bands who post here that do that... it's annoying. >=/ )

Also, if you haven't found out yet, they're out of a singer and can't release the album until they get a new one and re-track vocals. I was pretty upset, haha.

This band was good, I got to see them once, but sadly they broke up, if you want to listen to the singers old band you can, it's Circuit For the Blackout, if you can find anything, they deleted their myspace. They are releasing the cd April 20th to download for free.

CFTB's album is available on canadian itunes. Also, I knew about the album release, I'm mad that they're making me wait a month. lol.
