Jimmy Kimmel will be airing Cobra Starship tomorrow. Hope this clears up any confusion. And don't forget, Cartel is on next week.

Hahaah, good question.

if you go to their official myspace, it has a display picture of them. I think the names are somewhere on that site, also.

Jimmy Kimmel is probably my least favorite late night host (his interviews seem so awkward), but damn it if he doesn't get the best music acts to play his show, and none of that adult-pop top 40 bullshit. Kudos to the music producers at Jimmy Kimmel Live!

its a line from the song by Cobra Starship. good job on your sarcasm detector champ.
and for the record.
Cobra Starship is Gabe Saportja and some other band members he added (first names are on myspace).
Beckett, McCoy, and Ivarsson (not a law firm despite what you think) are just featured on that one track on the SOAP album.
While the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets comes out in a month or so, and thats just Gabe.

I used to think the same. But now its a DVR must every night. What he does do better than any other late night show host is that he actually is a common down to earth dude that WATCHES television. He knows alot about the shows of actors that appear on the show. And not in a fake "he just got briefed 5 minutes before the interview" kind of way. Watch any of his interviews with a Lost or Arrested Development cast member and you can tell that he is(was) a big fan of the shows. As much as I have always loved David Letterman I think this is what he is weakest at....he's out of touch with popular culture unless its smacking him in the face in the form of a mega movie star. That said, Letterman is the best in the business and has been for some time. His comedic timing makes the rest of them look pathetic.
Kimmel is getting better as a host, but I think some of the strengths of his shows are unrelated to his skill/ability in the business. I think the writers for the show are the best in the business with such great bits that never get old to me like the animated "Doin' Fine w/ Kevin Federline", "This Week In Unnecessary Censorship, and Pablo Suzuki's breaking news reports. And anything involving the hapless duo of Guilliermo and Uncle Frank are always great.
*I should mention that these criteria in which I judge the people in question do not apply to Jon Stewart....he's not a late night talk show host....he's a fucking living legend.

I agree Letterman has always been my favorite, he makes me laugh all the time. And i agree with you everything you've said about Kimmel.
