The triple disc has been out for quite some time now, it's been able to fully digest into our systems. So what's everyone's favorite disc?
I spend a lot of time in my room reading and writing, so personally I like the chill factor of the Mother, so I'd have to pick that.

i loved the songs that rocked out on the rooms too cold, so the mechanic fit my tastes nicely. however, to any of my pot-smoking enthusiast friends, ive heard the path is really crazy when ur fucked up.
I like The Mother the best out of all three discs. It has some awesome songs and I love what "1000 Times A Day" is about; it's so sweet.

I really love each and every one of the discs so much and cant say I like one more than the other. They aimed so high, to doing something so unique, and made one really great album with three incredible discs. Amazing stuff.

I've never been "fucked up" before, but I'd have to say that The Path is really crazy anyway...which is why I was the second person to pick it for favorite...

I went with the mother, just cause i love the last song, "1000 times a day" on that disc.

The Mother.
Because of...
a. A Little More Time
b. From Here To LA
c. Hair, of course... that song's just too damn catchy!

gahh thats the toughest question i've ever seen posted on here...i'm gonna go with The Mother (it has nothing to with Hair), I just loved Little Black Heart and the other slower songs on the album. I loved The Path too though...so unique.

I wholeheartedly agree. It is amazing. The Path shows how diverse The Early November can be.

Exactly what I thought. They showed so many different sides of their music on that CD. I think thats where they really shine out of the 3 discs, the many ways they can keep listeners interested. The first time I listened to it I just was thinking, "Jesus I wonder what the next songs going to be like?"

AND I VOTE....none.
The whole album reeked of wannabe Spitalfield and Mae vocals and hooks. The Early November just doesn't have the chops to be anything greater than just another mediocre Drive-Thru band.

Lol what you said is just ridiculous, the album they put out is a masterpiece, they put out three incredible albums, each album with its own distinct and unique sound and feeling. There's not too many bands out there doing that, or even capable of doing it for that matter.

The Path.
And to the person who called TEN "mediocre", you're an idiot.

I chose the mother, even though I did really enjoy the path. Runaway gives me chills, but the path is just not replayable enough to be the best out of the three.

the mother has some really amazing songs (hair, little more time, 1000 times a day), but overall i enjoy listening to the mechanic more often

I love the Mechanic, because it rocks the most, and my favorite songs are on that disc.
The Path is surprisingly good too, though. At first, I thought that'd be the one I hate, but it's very interesting.

Even though this is the only post that denouces this album, something inside me tells me that this person got it right.
