I just don't get what it's main purpose is. It's like a laptop, but not as good, like an iPod, but not as small, and it's also a reader. The only thing that makes it different from an iPod touch or iPhone is pretty much that feature and the fact that it's bigger. I guess it's better than most other readers because of it's other feature, but (as far as I know) it's a lot more expensive.

Basically, It seems cool, but unnecessary.

this is exactly what i have been thinking. i really don't get all the excitement over it. i have an iphone, i hate it, and have now learned i will never buy anything with a touch screen again, and there is no way i'm buying a laptop/ipod touch/whatever the hell it is.

Yea, I hate touch screens for typing. I could never get a phone where I needed to text on a touch screen.

I´m going to buy a Ipod Touch instead... I already have a netbook.. where I can read books, surf the web, use flash player and with a lot more free programs than the Ipad...
