The release date of We Are the Fury's (http://www.myspace.com/wearethefury) debut full-length, Venus, has been pushed back from September 26th to January 23rd.

Well if that isn't giving them the shaft... however this album has had no push from the label at all.

Are they the ones with that add that was ALL over purevolume and ap.net, like 6 months ago? With like, the girl in black underwear and stuff? Guess it didn't help that much.

No its not they just want to avoid the 4th quarter.Yeah, it makes sense. Their EP is around 5,500 sold, so they're not doing incredibly. We'll see if the pushback makes a difference. Frankly I'm not a fan, but if there's a solid push and they write some better music, it's possible the debut will do okay.

This band was so much better when they wear Hearsay TAO. It's nice to see a Toledo band kinda make it "big" but they totally changed every aspect of their music when they signed onto a record label and changed the name.

i think the reason it's probably being pushed back is because their label hasn't done anything to promote it. hopefully they put something behind these guys, i've heard a few songs and it's great!
