That film is so fucked up, but Phillip Seymore Hoffman is great in it

I second Happiness.
Boogie Nights, Pi, Rushmore.
if your blockbuster is like my blockbuster, they probably don't have much on dvd except new and recent releases. so i say "brick".

yeah the one closest to me is alright, but the new releases are too expensive so i dont even bother looking around for the new stuff

Happiness is the only film that has ever actually unsettled me for some time after. I didnt function very well for the rest of the day after I watched that film

Happiness features;
A serial child rapist that you as the audience sympathise with (I know it sounds fucked up but, damn)
A sex pervert who sticks postcards to his wall using his own cum

I am deadly serious. I shit you not about either of those things.
But the film has amazing acting throughout and a blinding script

hmm I don't know, I'm definietly into movies that are kind of dark and dperessing and stuff, I don't know if It'll be too creppy especially watching it by myself...
I think I'll get it if I can't find anything else.
Well I'm off to blockbuster
thank you all for the input!

That's the way I feel about it. I didn't know it had such a following though, I just heard about and watched it like a week ago.
