my English teacher last year was this 23 year old guy who listened to really good music
he used to play the Refused in class
my friend is his Aid and she said he has Moneen and NOFX and other good stuff on his Itunes
and i hear he likes Dragonforce

we once had a project where we made a mix cd describing Catcher In The Rye
he said i listen to too much emo
and he was going to fail me for having The Smiths on it
he said if i ever wore my Smiths shirt to school he would give me a referral.

My English teacher was in his 50's probably, but he had the best sense of humor. We would joke around and have a good time, plus we'd still do the required work and do well in the class. I wish I can relive last year all over again to have another year with him. He was so awesome.

I could so be this guy if I taught high school. Elementary school is too much fun to give up, though. Middle school, I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

My favorite teacher (so far) has been my music teacher. She taught our class and, like, 3 other schools for about 10+ years; I'm pretty sure she's still teaching.

I have too many favorites to pick one. my AP calc teacher was great...same with AP bio...and AP US...I liked all these teachers but they hated me.

every englinsh teacher I've ever had quit in the middle of the year cause my class drove them insane...we made one cry once...i think she left cause we gave her a nervous breakdown..haha thats what they get for putting all the trouble makers in one class. I hated it! every test people from all directions would be like "ppssshhh..hey....sara....whats the answer for..." and I'd sit there like "people people, I'll help you all out but you gotto find a way to get organized and not all whisper to me at once!"

I know in my HS...we drove my spanish teacher nuts. not as bad as when my brother had her tho...one time in his class, they bugged her so much that she walked out of the class...and then ten minutes later they see her leaving on a stretcher.

my english teacher last year was gonna have a baby, so a week into school we had a permanent sub that just got out of college as an english major, but he was really laid back and awicked cool guy. The first week we watched family guy cuz it somehow had to do with Death of A Salesmen, and he would bring in his guitar and we'd play some blink, cuz they were one of his favorite bands, and he taught the whole class why Drop-D was for pussies. He really cared about the all his students though and made sure we had all our college stuff done, and made sure we like stayed outta trouble. He's also the head beerman at Fenway.

yup, my biochem class was way hardcore. Grad students took it, but i really liked it. The lab was pretty intense too (that biatch of a lab took up like 90% of all my studying time)

ya I know...I like a challenge tho it keeps me in check. All my friends who take crap classes go crazy and nocturnal. I breezed through gen chem...the "easy" stuff in orgo was the stuff I struggled with but I got an A...I had the highest grade in the class on one of the hardest exams. I took through calc II...I wish I could take some of these courses just for fun but it might take away from my gpa and shit. do I do what I want at the sacrifice of free time and good grades? I dunno.

I am workin in a lab this fall, I feel so badass.

In high school, you have soooo much freedom. The schools are usually so big that the principal has no clue what your lessons are and if you actually do what you say you're going to do. I know a lot of high school teachers that never say a word to the principal outside of a staff meeting or the introductory get together at the beginning of the year. Elementary school teachers are a lot more involved with the principal.

back in high school i had a teacher who got fired for smoking weed with a senior. oh, and i had another teacher a hot 24 year old lady, and she was a newlywed. but she got drunk at a graduation party and had sex with a student. she got fired.

My chem teacher was really cool. Theres also a history teacher in my school hes probably 25 tops, i never had him but i got to know him and he is awesome. I used to always talk to him about music. He really likes the bouncing souls and lifetime and was telling me about how he used to see them in new brunswick when he was growing up. He also told me that he saw thursday play their first basement show in new brunswick for one dollar. The guy wore cons to our prom and i heard he wore cons to graduation.
