I just thought I'd make this a new thread in response to this -
What authors do you read on these types of subjects? I like Paul Davies, Brian Greene's Elegant Universe was good, i really liked Carl Sagan when i first got into reading physics books.
I just bought that, but haven't read it yet. I recently bought quite a few physics books, as I haven't read that many yet, and I'm starting a degree in astrophysics. So far I've read some book on the CMB (I forgot who by, a teacher lent it to me), The Last Three Minutes by Paul Davies and Stardust: Supernovae and Life | The Cosmic Connection by John Gribbin. Now I'm finally reading A Brief History Of Time by Stephen Hawking. I'll post the list of books I just bought a bit later. Can anyone suggest some really good books to read?
(I doubt this thread will really go anywhere)
