Between Home & Serenity (http://www.myspace.com/betweenhomeandserenity) have posted 2 new demos up on their Myspace (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofi le&friendID=1870052) page. The songs will appear on their new album Embrace the Dead.

Sweet. These guys need to find a new label...quick. I wanna hear their new cd.
I like the more metalcore feel these demos have, hope they release this soon.
These songs sound alright, I think they'll always just be a mediocre band, though. Someone will pick them soon probably, I just hope for the sake of the band it is not Victory.
This band is awful and will forever be jumping trends and call it "artistic development".

i know who they signed with or going to signed with and its not victory, actuallyits not really anyone...

Not exactly my favorite band and I'd rather see a lot of other northeastern Ohio bands that work just as hard get deals, but they're certainly deserving and pretty good live, not to mention really, really nice guys. The new guitarist shreds too.

i dont think ian has the screaming ability to carry it as a hardcore band, he has a good singing voice and his screams are good for the scremao genre when you do it eveyr onc ein a while, but he cant do it full time, it just sounds repetive and boring, but like julian said, theyre all really nice guys

we have been knocked downhill quite a bit.... between our label and people we worked with shading us over all the time and bandmates coming and goin (even quitting myself at one point) it's hard to maintain something at a solid position. we're tryin though

It was supposed to be released august 8th... Then outta nowhere our label put all rock bands on hold for a year... Then moved to nashville to do country music instead outta nowhere. Now we're looking for a new label so we can re-record our new cd then release it. Lots of hurdles in our way

dowhill from what? they are a bunch of arrogant, medicore musiscians whowere on 2 practically non-exisistant labels and they releeased a horrible steriotypical cd. hopefully they just break up soon.

i don't understand how we'd be classified as arrogant... but we definitly agree we were on 2 smaller labels that didn't do much.... 1 being less avenged records who are doing amazing for themselves now and working hard... the 2nd being rust from cleveland who if a band didnt sign to a major a month after signing... they acted as if they didnt exist and stopped helping them. but now we're helping ourselves and hope to move upward

damn, i didn't even realize they had a new album coming out. i love Power Weapons, and these demos are kickin'. i can't want to get my hands on the cd, whenever it may be.

ya the first batch of cds got fucked up and the tracklisting was wrong to, there was a form to get an exchanged cd a long time ago

these guys are full of themselves and think theyre rockstars but theyre just cookie cutter scene shit and not even that good, ive never liked them and think theres so many other bands from around cleveland that deserve to get attention like delay, but BHAS is lame. They worry more about whos nail polish looks better and whos girl jeans from wet seal are tighter than how the music actually sounds

i agree about rust. idid merch for aband that met with them, some fat randy guy flew out and acted like a big deal, ken thinks hes hot stuff, they dont know how torun a label, they sign bands because they can pack a local hometown show. maria and misty are nice people though, sucks they have to work under ken.

ok well i know randy, and hes not a 'big deal' hes actually a really cool guy, ken is a dick though... i agree the cd release show was freaking amazing

I really like BHAS and those demos on the MySpace are amazing. I'm surprised that more peeps on this board don't like Power Weapons in the Complex. It's one of the most consistent, replayable albums I've heard in a while. The hooks are huge in those songs and the music is tight. 'To Redefine' and 'Displacement's Secret Crush' are just killer, killer tracks. I've been rocking these guys for the past two years and I never get sick of the album. Can't wait for the new one.

Yes, so stop being a band
I'm actually Youngstown and know pretty much everything about Ken/Rust and the shit he has pulled. Dude is like Lou Pearlman. Pretty funny he signed (or put together) a bunch of bands with "glammy" images and than nothing happened, so he jumped ship and moved to TN and signed aging country rockers.
I have 0 respect for anyone that works with that slimeball.
