Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know that YOUR opinion on a band was supposed to make ME look dumb! How foolish of me! You are right, Mrs. 85 posts, you are totally correct! I will for sure stop liking Carnifex because of this comment. Have a lovely day! HUGS AND KISSUS

Since everybody seems to hate on me for liking Carnifex, I am going to explain myself.

Started listening to Carnifex about 2 years ago, and aside from SS, JFAC, and Whitechapel, I did not get too much into deathcore because honestly it is not the best music out there. Carnifex is just the favorite out of the 4 deathcore bands that I listen to, and the only ones on this tour.

Fuck there being only one FL date and it not being anywhere near me. They were supposed to have a St. Pete date last year, but canceled it because the venue closed. Now the venues open again, so they could have booked it there.

Weird as hell they are having a 10 band "festival" kinda thing at a smaller club such as Peabody's!

Still stoked for Carnifex, The Faceless, All Shall Perish, Veil Of Maya, and The Red Chord!

Pretty sick show. Finally get to see the Faceless. I've seen Veil of Maya and Animals as leaders before w/ BTBAM. They were good then so I'm sold on this tour.

IMO, they're one of the better acts in a genre currently filled with a lot of shitty, generic bands.

Honestly they sound like another deathcore band that decided to get technical and make some generic tech death. If you like them, that's cool but as far as other bands in the tech death world, they really don't stick out that much.

Yeah, it sucks how genre's work.
But as far as I've listened VoM has always implemented tech.
It boggles me sometimes how they even memorize their breakdowns.

saw this in montreal the other night.
animals as leaders blew my mind
carnifex was alright, i know they played hell chose me in the middle of their set and closed with lie to my face.
Veil of maya blew my expectationsout of the water, especially with this being the third time seeing them.
THEIR SET:
ID
UNBREAKABLE
CRAWL BACK
DARK PASSENGER
PILLARS
WE BOW IN ITS AURA
NAMASTE
WOUNDS
ITS NOT SAFE TO SWIM TODAY

all shall perish were very good as per usual, i know they played: when ife meant more, never again and wage slaves.
the faceless were impressive but too much of the same thing although it was cool to hear the ancient covenant and them they closed with an autopsy!
