Ok....how pathetic is the dance break in the video of Girls & Boys by Good Charlotte...I saw it yesterday on MTV and my reaction was immediately WTF????....I mean these guys are "trying" to put out a "punk" persona but they do a dance break in their video -shakes head- poseurs.....But I do have to give them props for makin fun of Avril...that was just great! I was laughing so much...unfortunately they do not show the Avril part on MTV you have to download the video to see the Avril part

i will admit i like GC..but now there to mainstream and little avril people are listening to them, so i'm just sick of them...i don't really see how making fun of avril was funny, when GC and Avril are at the same level in the pop world...and making fun of missy elliot was just stupid....yah joel can dance ya ya...WOO WOO...but still it was just stupid.....and the old people were scary...never want to see that video agian....:rolleyes:

i still like good charlotte a lot, but then again i've cut myself off from most radio and tv. if i didnt i'd prolly be sick of em too. i love those guys, theyre great people. i dont think they "sold out", theyre just trying to keep everyone happy, with the pop and trl type stuff for the new fans and the "harder" image and rock single to keep the older rock fans happy. but in reality, you cant keep the two groups happy, its gotta be one or the other.

if you have old gc autographs or pictures, they make good money on ebay. :D

i think good charlotte's an awesome band , even if they're going mainstream but hey, everyone goes mainstream when they get "big" so, you can't hate all the groups out there can you? cuz they're goal IS to get "famous" and play good music. The thing I hate about Good Charlotte is that they were never punk, and now that it's 100% clear that they are indeed a pop band, they're trying to get away with the punk band image. I think their music is okay, but I don't really like them as people. (And for those of you who were going to say, "You can't not like someone you've never met" can save it for someone else because I have met them, and they weren't nice. Or at least Benji and Paul weren't.) I'm not one of those people who enjoys bashing GC, because I actually do like their music. But I will admit that they are trying to hard to be "punk."
