Persuasive Speech Ideas.

In about a month, I have to give an 8 minute speech persuading my audience (the class) to perform a specific action. Now, I thought finding a topic for this would be beyond easy, but for some reason, I'm drawing a complete blank. Now, before I get just burned for asking for advice on here, I realize this is not the best place to ask for help. However, I'm hoping the education forum can be somewhat humanistic and help me out a bit. I just need some jumping off points, so if you have anything, please don't hesitate, I'm taking all ideas.

In terms of the overindulgence issue, you can convince them to shy away from overindulgent behaviors such as substance abuse, alcohol abuse, overeating, and potentially even overconsumption of goods and consumerism.
